    hi, I'm new here and I want my boy to have his very first haircut at Harmony barber Shop, he is 3.4 years old, do you recomend the barber, I like the idea but the barber looks like old fashion and I'm scared he don't like it, thanks for your response

    Hello Milgros!  Oh I would definitely recommend a first haircut at the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street.  I have taken my grandsons there and it was a great experience for them both!


    First of all the picture you see is not necessarily one of the "barbers" who is going to be working in the shop. They will have several working at one time and for the most part they have been women.  Their specialty is the "First Haircut" and so they are well prepared to understand what the younger children need to be comforted.  I suggest you make a reservation and you can do this by calling 407-939-3463 and ask for Children's Activities.  The shop hours are from 9am to 5pm with the last reservation taken for a 4:30pm cut.

    Your child will receive a very special pair of Mickey Ears stating he has just had his first haircut as well as a certificate.  There are also plenty of stickers going around and I am sure he will return with a few of those as well. The cost for the first haircut is $18.  If you are there around noon time the barbershop quartet called the Dapper Dans usually stops by for a quick concert!
