Hi Moms! I’m a new annual pass holder but since I won’t be activating it until I reach the park will we have to pay for parking? We will be driving our own vehicle, staying off site. Thanks Moms, you’re all so helpful!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janice!

Congratulations and welcome to the magical Annual Passholder family! You are going to LOVE being an Annual Passholder. There are so many wonderful benefits to being an AP, but my most favorite of all is getting to experience the magic often!

Janice, on your activation day, you will have to pay for your parking when you go enter the park. But Hakuna Matata! Simply hold on to your receipt for a reimbursement once you activate your passes and receive your AP card that you will use to enjoy the complimentary parking that comes with your AP.

Another option is to make a pit stop at Disney Springs, maybe the evening before your park day, and activate your Annual Pass at Disney Springs’ Guest Relations. Parking at Disney Springs is complimentary and there is so much to see and do, it would be a magical start to your Disney adventure!

One last Pro-Tip! Be sure to bookmark the benefits and discounts page to your mobile device so you can access it easily during your visits. You won’t want to miss out on all the great savings exclusive to AP’s!

I hope you make many unforgettable memories during your magical year as an Annual Passholder for the Walt Disney World Resort. And hey, I hope it’s the beginning of many!

    See ya real soon,
