Hello Dorece, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to see us today.
How exciting to plan a vacation with just a few weeks' notice. You won't have to wait very long for the magic to begin. To get started, I recommend booking your Resort Hotel and purchasing theme park tickets online or by calling (407) 939-5277. Be sure to invoke your Florida Resident status;
special rates are available to Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors! If this is your first time, or if it's been a while since you've visited, I suggest calling once you've narrowed down resort choices. A friendly Cast Member will guide you through the best options for your family and provide exact price quotes.
I did a little investigating, and it looks like many resorts still have availability for your dates. A few of my favorites are
Disney's Pop Century Resort,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Take a look at the photos online and see which look appealing. I am absolutely in love with the
Disney Skyliner, so these days I'm always looking to stay at a resort that will take me on Most Magical Flight on Earth!
Once you have secured your resort and theme park tickets, you'll need to reserve your theme park days in advance using the
Disney Park Pass System. I checked the
availability calendar, and at this time
EPCOT,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and the
Magic Kingdom Park are still taking reservations for your dates.
EPCOT is my favorite theme park, and it looks especially beautiful this time of year as it comes alive with seasonal blooms during the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Check out this
recent Disney Parks Blog post for a sampling of what to expect from the food booths. You'll find everything from fried cinnamon roll bites topped with candied bacon to lavender honey mustard-marinated chicken flatbread. Bon appétit!
I hope this helps get the planning process started, Dorece. If there is anything else we can do for you once your trip is booked, please come back and see us again. We're all ears!
