Hiya Karen! Welcome to planDisney!
Hot Diggity Dog! I'm excited to hEAR you will be attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party during your visit next month! This magical event has everything you could possibly want to get you in the holiday feels. The parade, firework display, snow on Main Street, U.S.A., and a visit by Santa Clause are all highlights of this special evening.
Special event tickets, such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, do not require a separate park ticket to the Magic Kingdom on this day or require a
theme park reservation to be made. Guests can enter the park as early as 4 PM with their party ticket, although the Christmas Party does not begin until 7 PM.
I have great news for you, Karen! You can absolutely make a park reservation to another park on this day and hop over to the
Magic Kingdom anytime after 4 PM. You will need a valid theme park ticket in addition to making a reservation. Remember, the party does last until midnight, so you'll want to make sure to save up energy to be able to take part in all the holiday festivities at the party!
If you're a Nightmare Before Christmas fan like my family is, there is a special meet and greet with Jack Skellington and Sally at Town Square Theater toward the front of the park. Jack is dressed in his Santa costume and it is the perfect picture to get with the entire family!
Karen, I hope you have a magical holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort! Make sure to stop by some of the
Disney Resorts Hotels to check out their festive décor and holiday displays set up in each. It's always a fun tradition of ours to have something to do outside of the parks!
See ya real soon!
