Hello, I'm a mother of 2 (3 year old, 6 year old) we are staying at loews portofino bay resort. It is our first time visiting disney and we don't know where to start which park? we'd like to get a 2 or 3 day pass. We are arriving June 30 to July 6.

    Hi, Tina!

Welcome to Walt Disney World!  You are in for a magical experience!

I would plan to avoid July 4th in the parks as that will be super busy.  Here is my suggestion for your WDW itinerary:

Tue July 2:  Magic Kingdom (get to park at 8:30 am which is 30 minutes prior to park opening to avoid the crowds)

Wed July 3:  Hollywood Studios (get to park at 8:45 am for 9:00 am park opening)

If you add a third day, I would add Friday July 5 and get to Epcot right when it opens at 8:00 am or Animal Kingdom at 9:00 am.

If you need ideas for dining or attractions, let me know!  And just a reminder to bring a stroller, sunscreen, snacks, water bottles or juice boxes, sunglasses, hats, and autograph books.   Happy planning!  Looking forward to seeing you in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
