Hey there, Erika!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your fantastic question. I can't wait for you and your son to make magical memories together at the Disneyland Resort!
As a fellow "boy mom" I definitely understand your concerns! While there haven't been any announcements regarding Star Wars or Marvel Character Meals, there are currently four other
Character Dining options (aside from Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures) on Disneyland Resort property that would be great for any prince, knight, or padawan. My son loved Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa where he could meet Mickey and his pals. Goofy's Kitchen and Disney's PCH Grill also offer Character meals featuring Goofy, Donald Duck, and many other favorite Disney Characters.
Even though a Marvel Character meal doesn't exist, your son can still
meet so many of these super heroes over in Disney California Adventure Park's Hollywood Land. The newest hero, Captain Marvel, just landed to inspire Guests to go "higher, further, faster"! You can check the times and meeting locations of these and all Characters in both parks on the Disneyland app each day of your stay.
Starting this summer your family can also make the journey to a galaxy far, far away in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge where you can be immersed in whole new Star Wars world. Here you can enjoy themed dining as well as interactive experiences like building your own custom lightsaber or droid, dressing like a rebel, or shopping for an exciting new creature.
I hope this helps and "May the Force be with You" on your next journey!
