I’m about a month out from having to book my dining and was curious some of your suggestions for Epcot and animal kingdom. I’m good with dining for Magic and Hollywood since I’ve been to those parks a lot. It has been a bit since we’ve gone to Animal/Epcot

    Hi Casey!

Dining at Walt Disney World Resort happens to be my favorite topic! After all, the key to our hearts is through our stomachs, right? It sounds like you have a good jump on planning your trip, especially with your past experience! I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for the rest of your park days!

First, EPCOT is the ultimate park for foodies! Many people don't realize how much EPCOT's World Showcase has to offer, but that is where my family spends most of our time. La Cantina de San Angel is actually my top recommendation. The Tacos de Barbacoa are my favorite menu item, while my husband can't pass by without grabbing the Tacos de Pescado. There are multiple menu items that our kids enjoy, too, and when you find a place the whole family loves, you know you picked a winner! The best part about this spot is that it is a quick service restaurant, so you do not need to make reservations in advance and it won't take too much time out of your packed park day! If you'd like to sit down and take a break from the action, just behind La Cantina de San Angel is another delicious restaurant, La Hacienda de San Angel. We love to book the latest possible reservation here. It allows us to end our day with a great meal and we love being some of the last Guests to leave the park!

Casey, have you heard the news of the newest restaurant to open at EPCOT? Space 220 is an out-of-this world dining experience, where you truly feel like you're dining in another galaxy! The tasty food and creative drinks make it an all around top pick. If you'd like to give it a try, I recommend booking this reservation first as soon as your dining window opens!

If you'd like to try out some other table-service dining, Tutto Italia Ristorante is a great spot for a quiet, relaxing dinner after a long day of magic! Teppan Edo is one of my favorite places to visit with our kids! This is an incredible Teppan-yaki-style dining experience, full of entertainment for the little ones and a delectable meal for all!

I'd have to say that Disney's Animal Kingdom is a hidden gem when it comes to dining! Tiffin's Restaurant is a delightful fine-dining location with flavorful menu items from around the world. I usually opt for the Tamarind-braised short rib, but you can't go wrong with any selection. Yak & Yeti™ is another great option in this park. This is my favorite restaurant to visit with the kids as the menu is full of variety and offers something to please even our pickiest little eater. For just a quick snack at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Mr. Kamal's is your spot! The seasoned fries are a can't-miss item. Make sure to try all the dipping sauces! At the end of your day, stop by Tamu Tamu Refreshments for a Simba Sunset, one of the most unique and delicious Dole-whip creations in any of the parks!

I hope this helps you plan your days at EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Please feel free to reach back out with any other questions.

    Happy dining, Casey!
