Hi, I'm a mom of a 9 year old & 5 year old. I'm planning on surprising them this May with a trip to Magic Kingdom. I'm wondering, if I buy a 1 Day ticket, can we leave & come back? Does everything in the park need separate tickets such as rides?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sherly!

Your kids are going to be so excited when you surprise them this May with a trip to Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many iconic attractions to enjoy there. Don't forget to bring a camera because you're going to want to remember every magical minute.

If you purchase a one-day ticket to enter Magic Kingdom Park, you may exit and return to this same park as many times as you wish during regular park hours that day. No additional fee is required to experience attractions within Magic Kingdom Park. When I first visited the park back in the 1970s, guests needed to provide separate tickets to ride the attractions, but that is no longer the case.

Be sure to bring some sunscreen for your trip in May. You'll want to protect yourself and your children from that gorgeous Florida sunshine. Also, you may want to surprise your kids with autograph books. After the Disney characters sign their books, you can later add photos you took of your kids with those characters. It makes for a lovely souvenir your family will cherish for years to come.

Don't hesitate to post additional questions if there's anything more you'd like to know about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
