Hi Molly,
Thank you so much for coming to planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line planning question! I am happy to help you think about your
Alaska sailing.
My family went on an Alaska sailing on the
Disney Wonder with Disney Cruise Line, and it was positively magical. While we often sail Disney Cruise Line to the Bahamas and Caribbean, the Alaska sailing was unique. I still smile when I think about the fact that, where I was used to grabbing towels on the pool deck for a tropical cruise, on the Alaskan cruise there were blankets to keep you warm on deck! Snuggling up under one of these blankets with a good book and coffee from Cove Cafe while I watched amazing Alaskan wildlife and scenery go by was truly spectacular.
I
called Disney Cruise Line to check on the themed nights for your sailing. You will indeed have a
Frozen night, which is thematically perfect for an Alaskan cruise! Since your cruise is not a
Pixar Day at Sea cruise, you will not have that entertainment on your sailing. However, you are on one of the
Silver Anniversary at Sea sailings! You should find some extra magic in this, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their shimmery silver attire. Once you are onboard your ship, you can check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the most up-to-date information on these and other entertainment options. Please note that entertainment is always subject to change.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Molly. Please do feel free to sail on back to planDisney if you have any further questions as you plan your magical sailing!
