Hi I'm going with mi wife and daughter to MK on xmas eve,is that better than xmas day?would it b less crow?We are going with tight budget so this is a surprise for them. And any other suggestions to do on xmas day for my little princess?any mikeyxmas parade

    Hi, Hugo!

Believe it or not, Christmas Eve at the Magic Kingdom is historically less crowded than Christmas Day. Of course, there is no guarantee that this will be true in 2011, but past attendance levels do indicate that "the night before Christmas" offers a lower crowd level than does Christmas itself.

If you are not planning on going to a Park on Christmas Day, there are any number of activities to do around the Resorts. You can jump on a monorail and travel to the Grand Floridian (make sure to spend some time checking out the life-sized gingerbread house in the lobby!), the Polynesian, and the Contemporary to enjoy their Christmas decorations; you can take a bus to see the incredible gingerbread carousel and other delights at the Yacht and Beach Club. And there is always something lively and fun going on on the Boardwalk.

Head over to Fort Wilderness and jump on one of the Settlement buses that takes you past the campsites. People spend hours and hours decking their sites out for the holidays; you'll be sure to see some incredible decor.

Downtown Disney will be full of holiday fun, too. Street entertainment and sightseeing can make for a very pleasant few hours with your family.

To end Christmas with a bang, watch the fireworks from the Grand Floridian boat dock. Nearby Narcoossees restaurant broadcasts the soundtrack from the Magic Kingdom, so you can hear AND see the incredible show.

    Happy holidays!

    See you later, celebrator,
