I’m making dining reservations and couldn’t get a table for 4 so I want to make 2 separate reservations at the same place at the same time. I already made a reservation for 2 people in our party but would like to make another for the other 2 people. How?

    Hi Claire!

Making a two smaller reservations is a great trick when you're trying to get a Walt Disney World dining reservation for your entire party, but it isn't available.  The dining system will not let you make more than one dining reservation for the same time, so the extra trick here is to make the second dining reservation under the name of another adult in your party using their own account.  If I run into the predicament, my husband will make a reservation in his name so we can complete our party of four.

When you arrive at the restaurant, let the host/hostess know you have two reservations that you would like to combine.  I do need to state that it is possible the restaurant will not be able to accomodate a table for 4 since 2 reservations for tables of 2 were made, but I have always had pretty good luck making the switch.

If you are unable to find a second table for 2 or would like to continue searching for a table for 4, I suggest checking right up to the week and even day before your desired dining date.  Many guests are fine tuning their plans, so you'll often see availability open up last minute.

    Have a magical day!
