I think there's no better way to experience
Happily Ever After at the end of a long day at
Magic Kingdom Park than a Dessert Party. My favorite option is the
Pre-Party. After logging thousands of steps and riding all my favorite attractions, it's so nice to sit, catch my breath, and enjoy some yummy treats. Afterwards, a Cast Member guides me to the viewing area where, exhausted, I have a good cry as I'm inspired to never give up on my dreams. I can't imagine anything more magical.
Happily Ever After is currently scheduled for your date at 9 pm. These events are subject to change, though, so keep an eye on your
My Disney Experience App or the
Walt Disney World Hours & Events Calendar. Magic Kingdom's nighttime parade is
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, and it is not to be missed! Disney has not yet released the times for this during your visit. Based on the current schedule, it could occur before the fireworks, after the fireworks, or even both! It's not guaranteed to happen every night, but since there is no
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that night, I do expect it to happen at least once.
It can be a challenge to catch both Happily Ever After and Disney Starlight in the same night, but it can be done! You may be able to watch the parade from the fireworks viewing area, although it isn't an ideal spot. I discussed those options in an answer for another guest recently, so I'll link that
here. You will be able to see better if you can get curbside, but guests tend to start lining up there at least an hour before the start of the parade. Keep in mind that the parade route is not limited to Main Street, U.S.A. alone. You can also get great viewing spots in Liberty Square and Frontierland. It will be easier to make your plans once the details are released.
