Hi I’m going to magic kingdom nov 11th but not doing the Christmas event. Do I have to leave the park at 8? What if I have dinner reservations at 7:55?

    Hi there, Heather!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

I'm excited to hEAR you have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon. It won't be long until November arrives, and you're walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park. Not only will holiday decorations begin to appear during that time, but you'll also be visiting soon after the kickoff of The World's Most Magical Celebration. All four parks will be joining together to celebrate Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary, and there will be SO many fun things to see and do!

On the evening of your 7:55 dinner reservation, you won't be rushed through your meal in order for you to exit the park when the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event begins. Event ticketholders will be allowed to enter the park as early as 7 PM and will be issued special wristbands to designate them as event guests. At the scheduled park closing time (after that evening's showing of Disney Enchantment), Cast Members will be positioned throughout the park to help filter out day guests.

When you're finished with your dining experience, you'll be able to exit the park at that time. Once the event officially begins, After Hours guests will then need to show their event wristbands to access certain areas of the park and to enter the queue lines of any attractions.

I hope this helps with your planning for your upcoming trip! Please let us know if you have more questions before you arrive - we're happy to help!
