I'm going to be in Magic Kingdom on April 18th for what would have been my Mom's 90th birthday. If I'm able to purchase a Minnie - The Main Attraction plush, can the people who embroider ears embroider a name on Minnie's dress?

    Hi Rochelle!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate and remember your mom than by spending a magical day at Magic Kingdom Park.

There are a couple of places that you can get Mickey Ear Hats embroidered at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Chapeau on Main Street, U.S.A., is my go-to embroidery destination. I haven’t ever tried to embroider anything other than a Mickey Ear Hat. However, it wouldn’t hurt to ask the Cast Member working at this embroidery location if embroidering something other than a hat is possible!

Now I’d like to share a story with you. Two years ago, my children and I were walking outside of Pandora - The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. A family approached my children with two Mickey Premium ice cream bars. He offered them to my children and stated that it would have been his daughter’s 19th birthday. To remember her, the family came to the Walt Disney World Resort to perform 19 random acts of kindness. I was so touched and told him that I would forever carry her memory with me. So, my idea to commemorate and celebrate your mother’s life is to consider performing nine random acts of kindness to unsuspecting Guests or Cast Members for each decade of life.

I am sure that, however, you decide to celebrate your mom, she would be proud of the woman you are today!
