I’m a magic key holder and just renewed my pass for another year. My son turns 3 soon. I was told today there’s no guarantee I will be able to purchase him one. Would you really exclude a family member? I have no desire to come to Disney without him

Hi Chanel, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for coming to us with your important question.

Congratulations on another year of magic at the Disneyland Resort! The Disney Parks Blog recently announced the 2024 events, and there are so many fun things to look forward to this year. One of my personal favorites is Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park, which begins on January 23, 2024. My kids love the crafts and entertainment, and I love the Asian cuisine!

Chanel, my kids were SO excited when they got their first Magic Key passes. I can only imagine the excitement your family must be feeling. When new Magic Key sales are paused it still may be possible to purchase a new Magic Key pass for a new three year old. The pass must be among the passes currently available for renewal. You will want to speak with a Cast Member by calling the Magic Key Holders Membership Services line to find out how to proceed with purchasing a Magic Key for your little one.

A fun tip for celebrating your little one's birthday a Disneyland is to grab a complimentary birthday button found inside at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park. They may also have "I'm Celebrating" buttons for the rest of your 'Ohana!

I hope this information helps, Chanel. Thank you again for coming to visit us!

    Warm wishes,
    Melissa
