Hiya, Jacqueline, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I’m happy to report that you can change an upcoming
Magic Key park reservation, however, you’ll first need to cancel that reservation, and then make a new one – unfortunately, there isn’t a way to change it from one day to another in one step. Before you cancel your current reservation and make a new one, I recommend checking the
Magic Key Calendar to make sure your new date is available. Then, once you’re ready to make the change, open your
Disneyland app, then tap the “+” button in the middle of the navigation bar on the bottom of the screen. Select “Make a Park Reservation.” Scroll down to “View My Park Reservations” and tap on it. At this point, you’ll probably be asked to sign into your Disney account if you aren’t signed in already. Scroll down to see all of your park reservations below. Find the reservation that you need to change, and tap on “Cancel Reservation.” Select the Guest or Guests who need to cancel, and continue to complete the cancelation. Next, head back to “My Theme Park Reservations” and look for “Book Theme Park Reservations” to select the date you’d like to change to, and complete the transaction. In the future, it would be wonderful if we could complete this reservation change in one transaction – here’s hoping that will be an option someday down the road!
Next time you visit the Happiest Place on Earth, be sure to check out Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit in
Downtown Disney District! This special pumpkin hunt runs now through October 31, 2022, or while supplies last. Plus, your Magic Key holder discounts apply! Also, don’t miss some spooky Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot photo opportunities just for Magic Key holders. You can find a skeleton-themed Magic Shot in Disney California Adventure Park, located under Silly Symphony Swings, and another ghostly Magic Shot in Disneyland Park near Haunted Mansion. Both of these Magic Shots also include a complimentary download just for Magic Key holders!
Please stop by with any additional questions, Jacqueline… we’re all EARs!
Wishing you magic,
Kristin
