I'm going to be in the Los Angeles area from September 21- 24th 2016. I want to take my daughter to Disneyland. I'm on a very limited budget. What's available out there that is affordable?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Angelenia. I hope you're having a magical week so far.

A trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is fun and magical, and you'll certainly create lasting memories with your daughter. However, the cost of tickets to the parks, food, and lodging can add up. But I'm glad you're thinking ahead about budgeting. With proper research and planning, you don't have to break the bank in order to have a pixie-dusted time!

There are numerous Good Neighbor Hotels near Disneyland Resort that are affordable. Moreover, many will include free parking, wifi, as well as complimentary breakfast. You can find great lodging within walking distance to the parks, and a few places also offer shuttle service to and from Disneyland Resort.

If complimentary breakfast is included, it'd help cut down on the cost of food during your vacation. Once you're in the parks, you can grab a quick service lunch, and perhaps splurge a bit for a table service dinner. When it comes to merchandise and souvenirs, I find that providing my kids with their own Disney Gift Card is a good way to keep track of spending.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan an affordable, yet magical vacation for you and your daughter, Angelenia. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Sending you Pixie Dust,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
