Hi, Lyni!
I just stayed at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort a few weeks ago, and I really enjoyed it! There is a such a great energy at this resort. The bustling lobby and food court, families splashing in the pools, and kids tossing around balls on the sports fields. It is just a very fun place to stay.
I booked a standard room. My walk from my room to the lobby and bus stop was about 5-6 minutes. To be closer to the action, book a preferred room. It might be a bit noisier but a shorter walk to the main building. Personally, I prefer to be a bit out of the way without all the foot traffic. Each resort room has 2 double beds. The sink is separate from the toilet/shower, and there is a privacy curtain for the sink area. The rooms are not huge, but very clean with crisp white linens. You can also request a complimentary pack and play for your little Mouseketeer.
During busy times, Sports will have its own
bus to the theme parks and around property. Other times, you may stop at Music and Movies. These resorts are very close in proximity, so making these quick stops really is not a big deal.
To make things simple, you can book a
Magic Your Way package which will include your room and tickets, and even the Disney Dining Plan. One stop shopping for your entire trip!
