Welcome to planDisney, Colm!
The latest
planDisney podcast has me dreaming of visiting iridescent Ireland with
Adventures by Disney. It may take a few years for my dream to become a reality, but your dream of visiting Walt Disney World Resort becomes a reality in just a few months!
Each Guest over the age of three currently requires valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+,
Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) for theme park entry. I understand you'd like to purchase two-day tickets with the Park Hopper Option, which is a magical idea that potentially allows you to experience all four theme parks.
As you discovered, Colm, cherished Ireland-based Guests can only purchase 7 or 14-day tickets with the
Walt Disney Travel Company. Shorter ticket lengths can be purchased on
disneyworld.disney.go.com as soon as you arrive in the United States. You must confirm
theme park reservation availability before you purchase, which is why I do not recommend purchasing your tickets at the gate. Tickets purchased on disneyworld.disney.go.com should automagically link to your My Disney Experience account, which allows you to make
theme park reservations.
For tickets with the
Park Hopper Option, you only need to make a theme park reservation for the first park you plan on entering each day. Park hopping begins at 2:00 p.m. and you can 'hop' to any park using complimentary Disney transportation, even if a park does not show theme park reservation availability. Should park hopping be limited due to park capacity, signage will be posted at the exit of each theme park. I don't expect that to be a concern during your travel dates.
The magic of
The World's Most Magical Celebration is calling, Colm. Please let planDisney know if there's anything else we can do to help you answer the call.
Choose magic,
