I'm looking at a trip later this year between school holidays. One set of dates is my youngest's birthday. Does my 2-year-old need a ticket if during our visit he turns 3? For the second set of dates he turns 3 on the second to last day.

    Hi Tanya!

One of my family's favorite ways to enjoy a break from school is to visit Walt Disney World Resort! There's nothing like a bit of Disney magic to help the family reconnect, so I think the "Most Magical Place on Earth" is the perfect destination for your vacation.

One of the magical parts about a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is that little ones don't age during your vacation. So even though your little one's birthday is towards the end of your visit, he'll be considered 2 years old for the duration of your trip. Since Guests 2 years old and under receive complimentary admission to the theme parks, you won't need to purchase theme park tickets for your little one as his age will be considered 2 years old for the entire duration of your visit.

Tanya, keep in mind that you will need both theme park tickets and theme park reservations for all Guests 3 years old and above for each day they will be visiting the theme parks. Reservations are limited, so I recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible to enjoy the perfect itinerary during your trip. Feel free to come back to see us as you continue planning if we can help you with additional questions!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
