I'm looking for travel/tour books aimed at kids. We have an 8y/o boy and a 5y/o girl who will have time to kill in the car ride from Wisconsin, and I'd like them to be able to read up on the parks and attractions. Any suggestions?

Zachary, the many interstate miles you will drive between Wisconsin and Orlando will be well worth the effort once you fly with Peter Pan, zoom down Space Mountain, and sail with pirates.

A few fun guide books about the parks your children should enjoy are Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids, Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids, and Planet Explorers Walt Disney World. Planet Explorers also has a book geared for kids dedicated to just the Walt Disney World pools. Your son is the perfect age to enjoy hunting for hidden Mickeys so pick up a copy of Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets to get him started on this addictive WDW activity. Your daughter might enjoy Disney: It's a Small World, a beautiful picture book based on the classic attraction.

Hope your car trip is tear and tussle free!
