I'm looking to travel to Disney the week between Christmas and New Year's. It will be 2 adults and a 15 month old. What are your recommendations for hotels with activities for toddlers & what park activities can he do? I was thinking animal kingdom.

    Hi Beth,

You have a great question about which Disney Resort hotels offer the highest appeal for preschoolers and little ones.  The good news is that every Disney Resort hotel is child friendly and will please both adults and children.  However I have found with my own experience as mother of four, there are some Resort hotels that are more appealing to my children than others.  I will list my children's favorites by category below:

    Value

    • Disney's All-Star Movies Resort
    • Disney's Pop Century Resort
    • Disney's Art of Animation Resort

    Moderate

    • Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
    • Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
    • Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort

    Deluxe

    • Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
    • Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

As you can tell, you have a lot to choose from!  You are sure to find a Resort hotel that appeal both to the adults as well as your toddler.

In order to find theme park attractions that your toddler can enjoy, follow this link for Walt Disney World Theme Park Attractions for any height.  You will notice that I have preselected "any height" under the height filter.  You can further utilize the filters to select the settings for age interests, thrill level, interests, and accessibility/advisories.  You will find there are many attractions and shows that your toddler can participate in.

Thank you for your question Beth!  As you continue to make your vacation plans, please come back and visit us again.  We are always happy to help!

    Blessings,
