Hi there friend,
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question. The holidays are the best time of year to visit. The holiday decor is so impressive, you won't believe the lengths Disney takes to make everything so warm and inviting. I am very excited to be able to help guide you on your first trip to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"
When I think of the holidays
Walt Disney World Resort always comes to mind. When I checked for tickets with your arrival date I saw tickets available and there are a couple of ways to purchase tickets for you and your family. My first recommendation is downloading the
My Disney Experience App for your smartphone. If you don't already have a My Disney account you should sign up for one. This app requires it and is the most useful tool for planning your trip, purchasing your tickets, and inside of the parks it is a great help as well. Once you download it there will be a "+" sign at the bottom in the middle of the screen. Tap on that and it will show a couple of options. One of those options is "Buy Tickets and Passes" this is where you will be able to do it in the app. If you visit the
Walt Disney World Tickets page you can also purchase tickets here. If neither of those options sound like your cup of tea then do not worry you can always
call for assistance by phone.
When it comes to first time visitors,
Magic Kingdom Park is quintessential Disney. Once you enter you will walk down Main Street USA, and framed perfectly at the end is Cinderella Castle. This is a wonderful thing to see first thing in the morning. If you are an early bird that will pay off visiting Disney. Before you head down Main Street you can meet the boss at Town Square Theatre. Mickey Mouse is waiting happily to welcome you to his home, I love seeing him here at the beginning of the day. It just feels right saying "hiya pal" before starting to enjoy the attractions. Once you do buy those tickets, another recommendation is do your research. Make sure you have a list of must-do attractions, places you would like to eat, and any shows that peak your interest. There is a whole world there and if you show up with no plan, you may just be in awe of the sights and smells and the day slip away from you. At the end of the night you will want to check on the showtimes, but
Happily Ever After is the fireworks spectacular that will beat almost any show in the sky you have ever seen. You will hear and see familiar faces and songs play over the speakers, while the fireworks illuminate the night sky. If you plan on watching this show, I would recommend finding a spot with no obstructions anywhere from an hour to half an hour before the showtime. Try and find a Cast Member and ask them where prime location would be when they start taping off the area. Cast Members are what make Disney World so magical. They have always been there to help me and give those extra tips that they see you might need. A smile goes a long way with these folks.
I hope this information helps you get those tickets for tour family. Visit us again anytime at

Have a magical day,
