When Mickey hauls out the holly, it's sure to be a jolly holiday!
Christina, I was ho ho hoping I could share glad tidings with you. Unfortunately, tickets for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are sold out until the season comes 'round again.
Your best hope of getting your Christmas wish to come true is to check at
Guest Relations at the entrance to any of the theme parks when you arrive at Walt Disney World. I've had friends who have lucked into tickets earlier this month. As Christmas draws near, the chances get slimmer, but I would ask. 'Tis the season of miracles!
Now, while this is a humbug, there are so many ways to celebrate the holidays with an extra sprinkle of Disney magic. Have you sneaked a peek at
Jollywood Nights? I checked, and
tickets were available for November 29 (subject to sell out, too, but available when I looked). I went to both Christmas parties last year. While they have different vibes, this party was so much fun! A huge Muppets fan, I adored
Disney Holidays in Hollywood. I will carry with me forever the memories of dancing with Edna Mode and my friends in the snow at Pixar Plaza. And seeing the ice skaters on Hollywood Boulevard... Outside. In Florida. Truly, Disney magic!
For other evening plans worth melting for, EPCOT will be opening the
International Festival of the Holidays on November 28. World Showcase always captivates me in the evening with its enchanting lights illuminating the architecture. At the festival, you can see traditions from countries around the world and try some treats to celebrate the season. They have roasted chestnuts! It may be the Southern girl in me, but I thought these only really existed in song. Like figgy pudding, I've never tried them. The
2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Dates and Details has more excitement than I can squeeze into this answer. And, EPCOT is also a short walk to
Disney's Beach Club Resort, which has one of the most whimsical gingerbread displays!
No matter how much time I spend at Walt Disney World, the list of things I need to try is still long. I have never spent a day exploring
Disney Springs during the holidays. In two weeks, I will have. My friends and I are planning an afternoon enjoying the Christmas Tree Stroll, pictures with Santa, treats at
Amorette's Patisserie and drinks at
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, where they prove there is no such thing as "overdecoration."
Christina, I know Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is incomparable. And I hope you can get tickets. But, if not, you can still spend your evening rockin' around the Christmas tree and let the Christmas spirit ring! If we can help with any other questions, we'd love to see you again at
planDisney!
Merry! Merry!
