I'm looking for someone to help me plan a trip around Christmas time for my family - looking for best options and most reasonable prices.

    Hi Britney,

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am excited to help you plan a jolly good time with lots of magic during the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. If you need personalized assistance, you can always contact a Cast Member by phone to get help with booking a vacation package. In the meantime, I encourage you to do some research using the following online resources.

Take a look at the Disney Resorts Collection and pick a few resort hotel options that might meet the needs of your family. My family loves visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays and our absolute favorite resort at this time of year is Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We have also enjoyed more budget-friendly resort options including Disney's Pop Century and Disney's All-Star Movies Resorts. The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are a busy time of year and, last time I checked resort hotel availability was limited, so start pricing out your vacation package now.

As you price that vacation package, you will need to select the type of theme park ticket and number of ticket days. Once you make that selection, you can pay a deposit to hold your reservation! After you book that vacation package, you will need to use the confirmation number to link it in My Disney Experience. So, if you don't have a My Disney Experience account, go ahead and create one. Then log into that account, click on My Plans, click on Add More Plans and then select Link Reservations and Purchases. Once that reservation is linked, you will need to go in and make Disney Park Pass system reservations for each day that you have valid theme park admission.

I also highly recommend making advanced dining reservations, especially given the time of year you are going. Review the dining reservation window information. Currently, that window is 60-days prior to arrival, so given your arrival date, your dining reservation window will open soon! Although you can always use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability can be very limited. So, my family always makes quite a few dining reservations.

Britney, I hope this helps you get started! Remember to check resort hotel availability first and reserve a vacation package as soon as possible. Then make dining reservations. I am so excited that Santa is bringing you a trip to a world of magic for the holidays!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
