I'm looking for a romantic deluxe resort (excluding Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Contemporary), for my upcoming trip with my girlfriend that's very Disney-esque, quiet and relaxing, with great food choices. What would you suggest?

    Hi Edward!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

For a romantic deluxe resort I would not hesitate in recommending Disney's Wilderness Lodge - this is my favourite resort.  We have been staying there for several years now and it's the perfect relaxing retreat for everyone. The pool area is lovely. The landscaped gardens, the beach, the view over Bay Lake - they are all stunning. And the lobby is amazing.  There are great dining choices too - good plentiful food choices with extra fun thrown in at  Whispering Canyon Cafe, and the signature dining at Artist Point, with views over the gardens and Silver Creek Falls are definitely worth a visit. The quick service restaurant Roaring Fork is great for snacks or a quick breakfast - we usually have lunch here.  There are many places in which to relax and watch the world go by.  You will feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, while knowing you are a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom theme park, or a bus ride from all the other theme parks and resorts.

If there is anything else you would like to know about Wilderness Lodge please send me a direct question.  I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
