I'm looking for restaurants that might have these 2 specific menu items: 1- Elvis burger (egg, fried bananas, egg, pb) 2- mahi mahi

Hey there, Emily! Welcome to planDisney.

Your question has me “All Shook Up” because I went down a research rabbit hole trying to find you an Elvis burger. Food is a huge part of the fun of a Walt Disney World vacation, and I love finding delicious meals, treats, and drinks on every visit. In fact, I keep a categorized list on my phone of all the drool-worthy suggestions so I never have to miss a delicious opportunity on my Disney days. Okay, a little less drooling conversation and a little more action, Emily. Let’s dig in!

Let’s start with a visit to the “Heartbreak Hotel,” because I’m afraid I don’t see any place at the Walt Disney World Resort that serves an Elvis burger. I did stumble across an article from the Disney Food Blog from a few years back that featured “The King Cupcake,” a chocolate cupcake with banana custard and peanut butter frosting – it even had a bacon accent. Can we go back in time and try this delicacy? I love all things banana, so I have to recommend one of my favorite Disney desserts: the Banana Bread Pudding Sundae at Olivia’s Café. While Olivia’s doesn’t have an Elvis burger, it’s one of the best hidden gem restaurants at Disney World (their fried chicken is so good). Gideon's Bakehouse also has a Peanut Butter Cold Brew coffee that everyone is raving about.

Let’s swim in a different current and talk Mahi Mahi. Just as Elvis was looking for someone to “Love Me Tender,” this tender, buttery fish is popular at the Walt Disney World Resort. I found it on some of my favorite restaurant menus, and this list is not exhaustive. The coconut-infused Mahi Mahi at EPCOT’s Coral Reef Restaurant gets rave reviews, and this restaurant has incredible ambience, as you’re surrounded by over 2,000 marine creatures in a living coral reef as you dine. Kona Café at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort also features Mahi, and this is another of my favorites – plus, you can pick up a Dole Whip after your meal downstairs at Pineapple Lanai. Another favorite of mine, Paddlefish, also has Mahi on the menu; they boast an amazing outdoor seating area, great views, and fantastic cocktails.

Well, I’m drooling. Honestly, “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” with this question, and I hope this helps you to plan some delicious meals during your visit. As you count down the days, please come back and see us if we can help with any more questions. I also think you would love the Foodie Guides on the Disney Parks Blog, which points Guest in the direction of all the latest delicious bites around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Cheers to some delicious Disney days, Emily!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
