Hello, I’m looking to make a reservation at Cinderella’s royal table. We are on the Disney dining plan but it’s asking for an advance payment? Does this mean my dining plan doesn’t cover it? Or is it just a holding fee? Thanks

    Hi Jane!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It is always a pleasure to help my fellow guests from the UK!  You will love Cinderella's Royal Table, located inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park!  This is one of the most sought-after reservations across the whole Resort, where you will meet Cinderella herself for photos before you ascend the staircase to the dining room.  Once you are seated and enjoying your meal, you will be visited by several of the Disney Princesses who will spend time with you for photos and autographs!  This is one of the few dining experiences that requires pre-payment, but when you arrive at your table, advise your server that you wish to pay by using your Disney Dining Plan and they will credit that pre-paid amount back to your credit card. This dining experience requires 2 Table-Service credits for each meal - breakfast, lunch or dinner.

It's worth noting that if you find you have some dining credits left at the end of your vacation, it is sometimes possible to convert one Table-Service credit into one Quick-Service credit, and this could also be converted to 3 Snacks, but this is always at the discretion of the dining location or shop.  In the past I have been able to convert all my unused Dining credits into Snack credits at the gift shop of my Disney Resort hotel and have taken home bags of snacks and sweet treats!  Snack credits can also include fresh fruit, bottled drinks, including water, ice cream and a variety of bakery goods.  It's always worth asking.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan our magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on any events that may be happening during your stay.
