Hello, Nyasia! Thank you for stopping by to see us here at planDisney!
Planning a last-minute vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is always a lot of fun! I love dreaming of all the incredible attractions and tasty treats. We do need to look ahead just a bit, though, because there are some new procedures in place that will likely affect your plans for a last-minute visit.
As the
phased reopening of Walt Disney World continues, Guests need both a valid ticket
and a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the specific Theme Park they plan to visit each day in order to manage capacity and keep everyone safe. That means at certain busy times, there may not be availability in the Parks for the day you're hoping to visit. Taking a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, the next week is mostly shaded in gray, meaning all Disney Park Pass reservations are booked up. There is availability at
EPCOT on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10. After that,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park also has openings in addition to EPCOT.
Nyasia, if it's at all possible for you to reschedule your visit, it will be much easier for you to make reservations for the Theme Parks. The middle of May is looking like a great time to go, as is Memorial Day weekend, May 28-31.
Whenever you decide to plan your magical vacation, you can
buy your tickets online at the Walt Disney World website. Just note that
sales of Annual Passes are paused for now, so your best bet is to buy multi-day tickets for the number of days you'd like to hit the Parks.
I hope this helps you make a plan that works for your family, Nyasia. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
