Hello Fabianna, and thanks for asking planDisney such an interesting question.
Oh boy! I must tell you that I'm super excited about attending the
World's Most Magical Celebration for the 50th anniversary which begins on October, 1st 2021, and is all set to last for a whole 18-months long! Mickey has already been busy preparing for this magical milestone event by adding EARidesant touches to iconic Disney landmarks, literally transforming them into
Beacons of Magic as detailed in this Parks Blog article. At this time, I don't believe that any particular Attraction closures are scheduled for the week prior to the 1st of October 2021. However, as everything is always subject to change at Walt Disney World Resort it's rather tricky to predict any unforeseen closures!
Fabianna, in my own personal opinion, I would think a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort a few days prior to the start of the World's Most Magic Celebration could possibly mean slighter lower crowds than usual as many Guests could be waiting to visit after October 1st, 2021. As for me, I hope to be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A on October 1st!
Additionally, this coming
Autumn at Walt Disney World Resort you'll be able to discover a whole lot of spooktacular fun at the
Disney After Hours Boo Bash event which is held on select nights in the
Magic Kingdom Park from August 10th right through until Halloween night on October 31st, 2021.
If you should happen to have any further enquiries regarding your September plans to vacation at the most magical place on earth, then please do stop back to
planDisney to ask me another question.Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
