I’m looking to plan another vacation with you guys? I last there any plans to have the meal plan come back? And transportation busses from the air port

Hey there, Ashley. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your questions. I'm excited to see that you are starting the process of planning your next trip to Walt Disney World. I know you are going to make memories that last a lifetime.

Ashley, as of right now, we don't have a returning date for the Disney Dining Plan. It is such a fan favorite and I know so many people are wondering when it will return. The good news is that we have confirmation that the Disney Dining Plan is indeed coming back but they just aren't ready to release a starting date yet. Be sure to keep checking back here with us or over on the Disney Parks Blog for all of the details. When an announcement is made, that's where we are going to find all of the information. If you book a Walt Disney World vacation package now and the Disney Dining Plan is released, I am certain that you'll be able to add it to your existing package. Before the shutdown last year, Guests were able to add it up to 48 hours prior to their vacation. I really do think it will look very similar to this in the future.

If you are planning on vacationing at Walt Disney World before the end of the year, Ashley, you will still be able to take advantage of the Magical Express Service that connects the Orlando airport to the Walt Disney World Resort. However, after the start of next year, that service will no longer be offered to Guests. To get from the Orlando airport to Walt Disney World, you have several options. My favorite choice, and the one I actually use now, is to use a ride-share service. This is a convenient and affordable way to get around. Both major companies serving the area and I like to check both before deciding on one because oftentimes one will be running a discount or promotion. If you don't like the idea of a ride-share service, you can always go the more traditional route and use a taxi service. If those options aren't for you, you can do a quick internet search and hire a car service to take you from the airport to your resort. Cars that you can hire range from Towncar to SUV to passenger van and even a limousine if you are feeling fancy.

I hope this helps you plan your vacation a little bit better, Ashley. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to reach back out and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
