Hello, I'm looking to plan a trip with our main focus being on Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Galaxy Edge, and needing information on how to get started (would like option to pay over time) any help is appreciated!

Hey there, Jenn, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are further along in your Disney Vacation planning than you're giving yourself credit for! I'd be more than happy to share some tips and tricks to help you keep the momentum moving forward. And with 2023 arrival dates opening for reservations recently, now is the perfect time to plan your visit!

The first place to start is securing a place to lay your head! I know it's vacation and all, but trust me after a Disney day you'll be looking for the nearest pillow. Since you'd like to focus on Disney's Hollywood Studios, I recommend considering a stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel like Disney's Pop Century Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Both resorts will grant you direct access to Disney's Skyliner transportation that will make your trek to Hollywood Studios a breeze.

You mentioned having the option to apply payments to your vacation balance over time. By booking a Disney Vacation Package, which includes securing a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation and Theme Park Tickets simultaneously, you get access to this fantastic perk! A $200 deposit is due at the time of booking (the amount is subject to change), and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival date. You get all of the time in between to make payments as you'd like!

When finalizing your Theme Park Ticket purchase, you will have to decide whether you'd like to upgrade to the park hopper option. Park hopping privileges give you the ability to experience multiple theme parks on the same day! In your case, I would recommend that you consider this option. Since you'd like to spend a lot of your time in Disney's Hollywood Studios, park hopping gives you the chance to see other Theme Parks and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge every day if you'd like!

Whew, that was a lot. But this will surely get you started on your way. I hope this helps, Jenn! Happy Planning! If you have more questions while planning your vacation, stop back by and let me know
