I'm looking to plan my first visit to Walt Disney World. I'm considering staying at a hotel near the Resort that's not a part of the Collection. Does the area offer bus service that's similar to the ART system at Disneyland in California?

    Hi there, Carlos!

I'm so happy to hear you're planning your very first visit to Walt Disney World Resort! You're going to love experiencing all there is to see and do at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

When choosing a resort hotel for your vacation, Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels are budget-friendly options that are close to all the fun and magic of the Disney Parks. These hotels offer amenities such as Guest Relations on site that can help with theme park tickets, Disney merchandise for sale, and more. Some of these resorts offer pet-friendly accommodations (sometimes our fur babies need a vacation too!). While complimentary shuttle transportation to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and Disney Springs has temporarily been suspended at these resorts, that is always subject to change. I encourage you to call the specific hotel you're considering to confirm current transportation options. I encourage Guests to consider a rideshare service during this time for the easiest, most direct way to reach the theme parks.

Select Good Neighbor hotels are located in the Disney Springs area, and are only a short walk away from the awesome shopping and dining paradise. With over 100 shops and boutiques and over 60 dining locations, there's definitely something for everyone to enjoy at Disney Springs!

If you do want to consider staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll enjoy complimentary bus transportation from your resort to all four theme parks and Disney Springs. Select resorts - Disney's Art of Animation, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort also have access to the new Disney Skyliner system, and Guests can easily travel by aerial gondola to reach Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios

I hope this helps answer some of your transportation questions about your upcoming visit. Make sure to grab a "First Visit" button at Guest Relations when you arrive - you'll get a warm welcome from Cast Members and fellow guests throughout your vacation!

    See ya real soon!
