I'm looking to plan the first Disney World trip for my family of six, and I'm wondering what activities will be pleasurable for all of us. Two adults, a teen, a 6 year old & 4 year old twins. And WHEN should we go? We homeschool BTW.

    Hi Natasha!

Thanks so much for visiting us here on the Moms Panel. From the amazingly larger family, to the different ages within your bunch, and the homeschooling (we homeschool as well), I have so much to share with you when it comes to planning your first Walt Disney World vacation. Hopefully, you'll have faith and trust in the pixie dust that I'm going to sprinkle on you today!

As a homeschooling family, I suggest attending the Disney Youth Education Series. Your teenager and your 6 year old will be able to attend in-depth learning experiences. There are quite a few to choose from, so you'll be able to incorporate them into your current curriculum. While individual enrollment classes provide a special offer on tickets just for the students enrolled, the Student Seminar provides a discount for the whole family. These are only offered during certain times of the year, so be sure to check out the link at the beginning of this paragraph to see which experiences would be best for your kids.

When it comes to activities that are fun for the whole family, I suggest focusing on shows, attractions and meet and greets that your 4 year olds will love. I always tell parents to let their littlest princes and princesses plan the experiences. Visiting Walt Disney World through the eyes of a child is the best way to go! For more information on how to plan your magical trip for your preschoolers, visit here: Planning for Preschool Kids and Little Ones.

And just like that, I'm out of answering space! Please feel free to visit again and ask me any follow-up questions you may have. I'm always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
