Ahoy there, Elizabeth!
Oh boy, it's so exciting to book your first Disney Cruise! I'll never forget the first time my family stepped onboard Disney Cruise Line and fell in love with a Disney vacation on the high seas. I'd love to help you plan for your first magical sailing! You ask a great question about the
Booking Terms and Conditions.
It's important to take a look at these
important terms as you consider the type of reservation you'll be booking and your future plans. I understand that plans do change and most cruise categories allow for a deposit that is refundable depending on how far in advance of your sailing you make changes. For example, a deposit for a cruise that is one to five nights in length (excluding suites and concierge staterooms) is refundable if you cancel your booking at least 90 days in advance. For a sailing that is 6 nights or longer (excluding suites and concierge staterooms), your deposit would be refundable if you made changes to your plans 120 days or more before your sailing date.
In searching for your cruise, you may come across an opportunity to book an Inside, Outside, or Verandah Category with Restrictions that are nonrefundable. For these categories with restrictions, the cruise fare is due in full at the time of booking and cannot be refunded or transferred.
I hope that information helps as you prepare to book your first Disney Cruise! After making your reservation, I recommend you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. This app will help you count down the seconds to your amazing vacation and be handy as you
plan for cruise activities,
Port Adventures, and check-in for your sailing. Once you step onboard the ship, the app will display your daily activities schedule! That's where you will find all of the fun for
everyone in your sailing crew.
Elizabeth, my pals and I are here to help you every step of the way, so please cruise back to planDisney if you have more questions. I hope to see ya real soon!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
