Hi I’m looking to plan me and my family 1st visit Me My mom and my 5 kids soon can you help me with booking our reservations and stay and what all I need for park we are new guests and 1st time and I don’t know anything about it thanks looking for April

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Raven. We're so happy you stopped by, and even happier to hear you're beginning to plan your family's first Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's the very best kind if you ask me.

I'll start by telling you that the very beginning of April will be exceptionally busy in the theme parks this year. In fact, all four theme parks are already at capacity for a few dates at the start of the month! If you can be flexible with your April travel dates, I would begin by reviewing the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before booking a vacation package. As part of Disney's phased reopening process, Guests need a Theme Park Reservation in addition to valid admission for park entry, and you'll want to be sure there's availability for your visit!

Once you've settled on an arrival date based on Theme Park Reservation availability, you can begin the booking process for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package. Start by exploring all the incredible options in the Disney Resorts Collection. With a stay at a Disney Resort hotel, your family will be immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling even after you've left the theme parks! If one of your kiddos is under the age of 3, I recommend one of the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You may also want to consider a stay at a Deluxe Villa! If you're interested in two connecting rooms, your family can be accommodated at almost any Disney Resort hotel. After selecting a Disney Resort hotel, you can add Theme Park Tickets in the online booking process, creating a vacation package. Since it's your first visit, I suggest at least a 4-day ticket for each member of your family. With this ticket, you'll be able to visit each of the four theme parks once!

If any of this feels overwhelming to you, I recommend calling the Reservation Team at (407) 939-1936. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to walk you through the booking process! When I was planning my family's first Disney vacation, I was so overwhelmed. I called the Help Center, and a delightful Cast Member helped me to create a vacation package that was based on my family's unique needs, interests, and budget! She even helped us apply a great discount on our Disney Resort hotel! We had a magical, memorable stay.

I hope this was helpful, Raven. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
