Greetings, Kari!
Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am so very glad to hear that you are beginning to plan an adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth. This is such a great question! There is so much to consider when planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and there is quite of a bit of planning involved to create the best trip ever for your whole crew. But Hakuna Matata! You've got a friend in me (and the entire planDisney panel)! We're here to help with all of your planning questions and offer our best tips and advice. I do want to mention that if you are looking for a fabulous fairy godparent to help you from start to finish, you may want to consider working with a travel agent or agency that specializes in Walt Disney World Resort vacations. They will be able to help you book your resort accommodations, purchase the right ticket options, and even make dining and transportation reservations on your behalf. Choosing a travel agency is a personal preference, and I recommend asking your friends and family if they have a great agent that they can refer you to for assistance with creating your plans.
Kari, you can also make all these amazing plans with ease on the Walt Disney World website. Organizing your vacation gives you the flexibility of changing your plans through your
My Disney Experience account as needed and you can get started in a few easy steps. The first step is creating a My Disney Experience account. This is where you will find all of your plans. Each member of your travel party should also create an account and
link it to yours so you can plan together. Next, choose your
Walt Disney World Resort Collection Resort and the number of days you wish to visit. Then you can create a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation package in minutes!
Once you have booked your vacation package, be sure to make your
Park Pass reservations. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Pro tip: You can check the
availability of your favorite parks on the dates you hope to visit before booking your trip. This is a great way to ensure the theme parks you plan on spending time in have reservation openings for your dates. Dining reservations, Enchanting Extras, and other experiences can all be booked 60 days before you arrive, so mark your calendar! You can make these reservations online or through the
My Disney World Experience mobile app.
I know that this is a lot of information and we're just getting started with all the magical planning. I am sure you will have more questions as you continue to plan your magical adventure. Be sure to
stop back anytime with inquiries!
We'll see ya real soon!
