Im looking for a place to stay close to the parks for my dghtrs 4th bday. she LOVES animals so maybe the animal lodge but anything would work? smthg fun to hang out at and near to everything. i wish we could stay @ cinderellas castle!! that wld be perfect

It certainly is a magical experience sleeping in Cinderella Castle but unfortunately that is not possible at this time.  But there are great options for other magical sleeping during your stay at Walt Disney World!

There are three resorts on the monorail system that make it very easy to reach the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT parks.  Those three are the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, and the Contemporary.  Wilderness Lodge is also close to this park but it is not on the monorail making it a bit more inconvenient but you can often get rooms for a lower price.

The Boardwalk, Yacht Club, and Beach Club resorts are within walking distance to EPCOT and a short boat ride to Hollywood Studios.

Animal Kingdom resort is not within walking distance to any park including the Animal Kingdom park but it does offer the animal viewing from many of the balconies if you book a savannah view room.

Since your daughter is young I would suggest one of the Magic Kingdom resorts listed above as first choices.  You will most likely be spending quite a bit of time at this park over the other parks and being close will make it even more magical.  You might even  try booking a water/castle view room at one of the resorts and at least have the opportunity to look at the castle at night since you can't stay there!
