Welcome to planDisney, Lizeth!
I’m so excited you stopped by as you build your Disney vacation, starting from the ground up. This is where the magic really starts to kick in, and we panelists here at planDisney are always hEAR to help!
Let's start with the theme parks and entrances. When it comes to
theme park tickets at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll choose a date-based ticket ranging from 1 to 10 days. The more days you add, the lower the cost per day tends to be, which is a great value if you’re planning to spend multiple days in the parks. Each day includes one park, and if you want more flexibility, you can
add the Park Hopper option to visit multiple parks on the same day.
Now, let’s sprinkle in those extras, and where you can really be strategic:
For dining, if you’re staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you may have the option to add a
Disney Dining Plan as part of a vacation package. This can be helpful for budgeting since meals are prepaid, but I always like to mention that it works best for guests who plan to enjoy several table-service meals or character dining experiences. If your style is more grab-and-go, you may find paying as you go gives you more flexibility.
For parking, here’s a nice value perk.
Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels receive standard overnight self-parking included, and when you drive to the theme parks, parking is included with your stay. If you’re staying off-site, there is a daily parking fee at the parks, so that’s something to factor into your budget.
One of my favorite planning tips is to explore
booking a vacation package directly through Walt Disney World Resort. Bundling your hotel and tickets keeps everything in one place and allows you to take advantage of special offers when available.
Disney frequently releases promotions throughout the year, so keeping an eye on those can make a real difference.
And a final tip that happens to be one of my favorites: Don’t forget the keepsakes! My absolute favorite souvenir from all my Disney visits is all the photos captured. I can always go back and look through them to relive every magical moment.
Memory Maker is one of my favorite add-ons, especially for first visits or special trips. You get unlimited downloads of your
Disney PhotoPass photos and attraction pictures, which can really add up if purchased individually. Buying it in advance typically saves you a bit compared to purchasing during your trip. And in my experience, it is always worth every penny!
Lizeth, once you start putting these pieces together, it all clicks and gets really exciting. If you want help building a plan that balances magic and budget just right, I’m right here and happy to help.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and I hope your trip is filled with magical moments and smart planning wins from start to finish.
