I'm looking online at snacks and according to the website is says places like Gastons Tavern and Sleepyhollow don't take the disney dining plan anymore. Is that true? I've heard they do still take it even though the website says they don't.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Leslie!

I love using the Disney Dining Plan when I visit Walt Disney World Resort because it gives me the freedom to try a whole bunch of new snacks as well as the favorites my family thinks about when we're not at The Most Magical Place On Earth.

Some of my favorite snacks at Magic Kingdom Park are from Gaston's Tavern and Sleepy Hollow, and I'm happy to tell you that you can redeem your Disney Dining Plan Snack credits at both of those locations. There are a few reasons why a Quick-Service dining location would be listed in My Disney Experience as not accepting Dining Plans, but in the case of these two restaurants, it's because you cannot redeem your credits for a Quick-Service meal, but the snacks on the menu are generally available for a Snack credit. When you're there, you can tell if a menu item is available for a Snack credit on the Dining Plan because it will be marked with the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo. You can also use the mobile ordering function in My Disney Experience to help plan out what delicious snacks you're going to enjoy. In the app, when you tap on a restaurant that participates in mobile ordering, the menu pops up and the Snack items have the label "Qualifies as a Snack" on them! This makes it easier than ever before to plan out how you're going to use your two daily Snack credits.

I hope this answers your question, Leslie, and let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
