I’m looking for nut free dishes and also gluten free dishes at quick service restaurants in Epcot and magic kingdom. The allergy friendly foods are gone from the quick service menus.

Hi Amy, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to be able to help you with this important question. Remy would tell us that “Anyone can cook,” but at Walt Disney World, they make sure everyone can dine safely and comfortably, too!

I just did some research on the menus at both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT to see if allergy-friendly options were still visible. My search turned up allergy options at most locations in Magic Kingdom. For example, if you take a look at my favorite quick service dining location, Columbia Harbour House, and scroll to the bottom of the menu, you’ll be able to view the allergy options. I found similar menus at popular locations like Pinocchio Village Haus, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, and Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

At EPCOT, the availability of allergy menus online can vary. Many dining locations are owned by third parties, so those locations don’t always have allergy options listed on the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience app. They should still be able to show you allergy menus when ordering in person. Some locations where you can see menus online are Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue (one of my many favorites at EPCOT!), Sunshine Seasons, and Connections Eatery.

I also encourage you to read through Disney’s Special Diets information before you arrive to learn more about the protocols they have in place. There are important steps you can take to ensure you receive the meals you need to dine safely and comfortably. I have found their protocols to be excellent when ordering gluten-free items for myself, and I know families with severe nut allergies who have shared with me that they are always impressed with how Disney dining locations take special care when preparing allergy-friendly meals.

Amy, I hope this helps take a little worry off your plate and lets you savor every bite of delicious food during your vacation! If you have any more questions, just send them my way. I’m always here to help you create the perfect recipe for a magical vacation!

With faith, trust, & pixie dust,
    Casey
