I'm looking at the new Magic Bands and wondering if those are only available to guests staying at a WDW hotel. We are a family of 5 and will be staying offsite if we return. Will we be able to get the bands or will we have the same tickets offered now?

    Hi Stacie!

Thanks for sending the Disney Parks Moms Panel your question.  Currently, Disney is in the process of rolling out some fabulous new technology, including MagicBands.  As of right now, guests staying at select Disney Resorts are participating in the testing phase of this new technology.  I would suggest to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for additional information and updates regarding MagicBands, and who is involved in testing.  Guests who are not yet selected to test MagicBands will receive an RFID enabled Magic Your Way Ticket which will provide almost all of the same services that MagicBands offer.

I hope that helps Stacie.  Please let me know if you have any other questions concerning MagicBands or anything else, I would be happy to help!
