I'm looking for lunch and dinner buffets that do not feature characters. The restaurants can in the the parks, at resorts, or at Disney Springs. Secondly, are there dining plans available for guests who are not staying at a WDW resort? Thank you.

Hello Art and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a delicious Disney dining question where you had me at the mention of the word buffet! And here's why I enjoy all-you-care-to-enjoy buffets or meals served family-style at Walt Disney World Resort - it's because they offer great value for my hungry family, especially if our vacation package includes the Disney Dining Plan! Plus buffets are great for providing multiple food options for my youngest teen who can sometimes be a picky eater.
In no particular order my favourite buffets can be found at -
Trail's End Restaurant at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground - breakfast, brunch & dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge - breakfast, lunch & dinner
Boma - Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - breakfast & dinner
Biergarten Restaurant at Epcot & Liberty Tree Tavern within Magic Kingdom Park - lunch & dinner
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort & Pizzafari Family-Style Dining at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - dinner.
