I'm looking to get some insight from someone who has done the pirates and pals firework cruise. We're thinking of doing a early dinner for our daughters birthday at Chef Mickey's and then go downstairs to the dock for the cruise. How is it?

Shawna, your birthday celebration plan for you daughter sounds fabulous!

Be prepared for more than a cruise to see fireworks if you choose this voyage. Your first stop after check-in and donning your pirate bandanas involves ice cream, cake, popcorn, additional goodies, and assorted beverages. Between treats meet Smee and Captain Hook for pictures and autographs. Then your trusty pirate leader Patch escorts you to your vessel. Once aboard you will be entertained and charmed while you head out on the water.

One of my favorite events at Walt Disney World is the Elctrical Water Pageant. I cannot resist the shiny, blinking lights, rousing catchy music, and nostalgic feelings of this parade. Seeing the EWP from a water perspective only yards away was the best aspect of the cruise for me. The spectacular viewing of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon wowed us all. Your princess would definately experience a once-in-a-lifetime birthday with the double whammy of Chef Mickey's and the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.

    Happy birthday to your daughter!
