Hello Lori! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Celebrating the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a recipe for a magical day. As a Canadian, our Thanksgiving celebration is scheduled for around Columbus Day in the United States, but I am confident that you are interested in the festivities surrounding Thursday, November 22nd, 2018.
Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom is scheduled for 2:00pm on Thanksgiving day. Be sure to stay posted to the
Theme Park schedule for any updates or changes before your visit.
Many high school and post-secondary institutions can be found at various times throughout Thanksgiving day in the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. While the schedule is not posted in advance by Walt Disney World Resort, you do not require a separate admission and your
Theme Park Tickets with Park Hopper Option will grant you access to all of the festivities.
Check with a Cast Member upon your arrival for information details about the parades for the day. If you know someone participating in the events, hopefully, they are able to provide you with specific times and locations to see them perform.
The
Disney Parks Blog may also post information about the events on Thanksgiving as we get closer to the day.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
~Todd
