Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cheryl! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
I'll be headed to Walt Disney World Resort this July as well and summer nights at
Magic Kingdom Park are just the best! I love waiting until the sun goes down to experience two of my favorite attractions,
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. Both outside with amazing views, in my opinion, these are best enjoyed at night.
Speaking of night,
the Kiss Goodnight that you asked about is a short, but special farewell done every night after the park closes and is the very last goodnight of the evening. You will notice a twinkling on
Cinderella Castle and a famous song to send you off to bed.
With little kids usually in tow, we don't often make it past park closing, but if you can, it's a special moment. Cheryl, if your family is able to stay up late, this extra pixie dust is something not every guest can experience and will put a smile on your face.
I hope this helps as you're looking ahead to your upcoming trip. Wishing you a trip worthy of Cinderella when she said, "a dream is a wish your heart makes..."
Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have,
Lauren
