Hi Im looking for info on why they dont have wishes scheduled for the week of July 17-22nd we want to do the dessert party at the terrace and cant book anything. Do yall have any info on why wishes isnt showing?

Hi Jessica! Wishes is one of the most attended special show for guests while at Walt Disney World. It would be a rare day if they were not offering this great show.

Many times the calendar is not updated months ahead and sometimes it just has missed putting in times and dates for various things. I have not been able to find any information that Wishes would not go on as usual during that week. Cast members were not aware at this time. Disney does not publicize all information and therefore I cannot say with accuracy that Wishes will be showing but personally I would be shocked if it wasn't.  As far as the dessert party reservations they also don't always show dates that far ahead. Sometimes groups rent out that space where the party is held and if that is the case then they might not have it offered on certain dates. I would definitely keep checking back to see if this opens up for that week in September.

If the dessert party is ultimately not offered I would suggest a fireworks cruise. You could either reserve a private pontoon boat from one of the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake resorts or get a spot on the new Ferrytale dessert cruise on one of Disney's ferry boats. They both take you out of the park but allows you great views of the fireworks in a peaceful water setting.

No matter what I am sure your Disney vacation will be magical!
