    I’m looking for info on the July 4th 5k run at Fort Wilderness Resort. Cost, medal/medallion, registration, etc.

     Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Valerie. I'm so glad you stopped by!

     Celebrating any occasion at the Walt Disney World Resort is sure to make it all the more magical, and Independence Day is no exception! There were many special Independence Day events offered this summer, including the Fourth of July 5k Run at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This FREE "fun run" was scheduled on July 3, 2018 this year. Pre-registration was available June 24-30 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at the Fort Wilderness Bike Barn. On-site registration was available the day of the race beginning at 7:00am. The 5k began at 7:30am, and participants received water and a keychain at the finish line. All details, including the availability of the race, are subject to change. For news and updates about next year's Independence Day celebrations at the Walt Disney World Resort, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog.
