Hiya Theresa and welcome to planDisney!
It sure is a beautiful day when you're starting the process of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Thanks for letting me help! The easiest thing to do would be to create a
My Disney Experience account. You enter a bit of information about yourself and just like that all of your Disney plans can be consolidated into one organized location.
Pro-tip: Get the corresponding
My Disney Experience app downloaded to your mobile device. You'll be able to use the complimentary
Disney Genie Service and with a quick purchase, you can upgrade it to the Disney Genie+ Service to help you plan each Disney day in real-time.
Now I've found that the easiest way for me to plan is to use the Build Your Vacation tool on the
Walt Disney World Website homepage. You can enter your Arrival and Departure Dates, info about everyone in your travel party, and the
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'd like. If you leave the hotel part blank, you'll actually be given lots of options based on availability. Tap the View Rates button to figure out which room type best suits your party. Follow all the prompts to enter the specs on your desired
Tickets. Be aware that you'll need to
make a Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System for each day in addition to your Tickets. Check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar prior to making your purchase. Keep on going until it's time to complete that purchase. At this time we're still waiting to hear about the return of the Disney Dining Plan so all food will have to be paid for as you go. But don't worry, there are
tons of menus for you to look at and get an idea of how to budget.
Theresa, I'm wishing you all the Pixie Dust in the whole Walt Disney World for your magical stay! If you have any more questions,
just come right back for another chat!Happy planning!
Taylor
