Im looking for help planning a trip to Disney World and making the most of the Star Wars stuff and staying on site. Do you have people that can help?

Bright suns, Greg! Welcome to planDisney. I'm glad you've stopped by en route to a galaxy far, far away.

As a longtime Star Wars fan, there is nothing quite like visiting Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. Stepping into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge for the first time was an emotional experience for me, and it just gets better and better. There is always something new to discover!

To make the most of your adventure, I recommend staying at an onsite Disney Resort Hotel in close proximity to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Villas are located within walking distance, while Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort are just a short flight away on the Disney Skyliner. I recommend using the "Build your Vacation" tool on the Walt Disney World website to price out various dates and accommodations. You can also get in touch with the magic-making Cast Members who book vacation packages by calling (407) 939-5277.

When considering your itinerary, I suggest spending two full days at Disney's Hollywood Studios for the best chance at scoring a boarding pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and to fully explore Black Spire Outpost. You'll want to test your piloting skills on the biggest hunk of junk in the galaxy aboard Millenium Falcon - Smugglers Run and refuel at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo. If you've always dreamed of wielding the power of the Force with your own lightsaber, then be sure to make reservations starting 60 days in advance at Savis Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers. It's a totally immersive and out of this galaxy experience! Do you want to bring home a custom astromech unit? Visit the Droid Depot and create an R or BB-8 Series sidekick. My advice would be to reserve one creative experience per day to really savor the moment without rushing off to the next thing on your agenda. At the end of the day, kick back with some cool libations at Oga's Cantina and mingle with other interstellar travelers.

Greg, this should give you some ideas of just how much there is to explore at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Remember you can book a vacation package either online or by calling Disney. Also, stay tuned for even more exciting things on the horizon. Sometime in 2021, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will challenge Guests to embark on an immersive 2-day adventure. Keep tabs on the Disney Parks Blog for more information. May the Force be with us all as we try and land a reservation for this incredible experience!

    Til the spire!
